SampleDir is a local-first desktop app provided by the operator of SampleDir (referred to as "we"; contact hhztiger@gmail.com). Your sample files, audio content, and folder structures stay on your device. We do not upload them to any cloud.
To validate your license, provide support, prevent abuse (for example, key sharing), and improve the product. We do not use your personal data for unrelated marketing.
Payments are processed by Creem (Merchant of Record). We never receive or store your full card number; payment-related personal data is handled by Creem under its own privacy policy.
Activation records are kept for as long as your license is active. You may request deletion at any time (see §7). Anonymous analytics are aggregated shortly after collection.
Depending on your jurisdiction (for example, the EU GDPR or the U.S. California CCPA), you have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict, and port your personal data, and to object to its processing. You may also withdraw consent at any time. To exercise any of these rights or to request deletion of your data, email hhztiger@gmail.com; we will respond within 30 days. If you believe our processing violates applicable law, you may lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority in your jurisdiction.
Our operator is established in the People's Republic of China. If you are outside China, your activation data may be processed outside your country. Cross-border transfers are handled through our license backend and Creem (our payment processor); for EU personal data protected by the GDPR, we transfer it under Standard Contractual Clauses or equivalent safeguards with our processors.
Our website uses minimal local storage only to remember your language preference and deploys no cross-site tracking cookies. The app stores settings locally on your device only.
We may update this Policy; the latest version is always at this URL, and material changes will be announced via the website or in-app notice.
